There is a biological age and an actual age. When someone looks, feels and performs like they are 10 years younger than their actual age, we are talking about their biological age. If you are going to decrease your caloric intake, you need to increase the ratio of nutrients per calorie.
You won’t nearly get enough nutrients, if you simply reduce the amount of food you eat.
It’s important to eat foods that are more nutrient dense foods, with high levels of nutrients and low levels of calories. This will dramatically extend life.
Overeating ages you because your cells divide. When cells get tired and have worked really hard, they need to replace themselves. They need to regenerate, rejuvenate or they simply age.
Some cells divide and some stay with you for your entire lifetime. ALL cells age. Cells age when they do too much work.
Eating food is like putting gasoline into your car.
The more gasoline that passes through your car, is because more miles has been driven and the more miles that has been driven, the worse off your car is.
Some cars are 40 years old and they’ve only been driven 100.000 miles or less.
Some cars are only 4 years old and have been driven 100.000 miles.
After 8 years, one car has been driven 200.000 miles and the other is now 44 years old and has been driven 105.000 miles. As you can see the “acceleration” is severe.
Just like a classic car with very low miles and still in mint condition vs a brand new car that has been driven by a road warrior salesman across the country, sitting in his car eating lunch and throwing the trash all over the floor in his brand new car, loading up his new car with work supplies and throwing his suit cases in the back seat. That car in just 5 years will look a lot worse than the one that is 40 years old.

The amount of food that we eat is like the miles that we drive. Over exercise does the same thing!
Over exercising and over eating does the same thing, cause it’s too much of it.
Over exercising is just as much of a problem as lack of exercise. Your body has anabolic and catabolic processes. There is a point where something is good for you and a point where it’s not.
When you overeat over a long period of time the satisfaction signal gets diminished, just like a drug and even though you never get that high again, you just keep wanting more and more of that food. It doesn’t actually nourish you. That’s the reason for food addiction.
If we go back to over exercising, we have this “runner’s high” or “pumped up” feeling and unfortunately, we can do too much of that as well. All of a sudden, we don’t look “good enough”. Even though we look great to our friends, we never look good enough to ourselves.
The same low esteem that affect people who are really “ripped” is the same low esteem who affect people who are really fat.
Guess what? Both groups are aging their bodies excessively. Balance is always the key! We go through significant repairs, specifically anti-aging repairs when we sleep. We also go through significant detoxification while we sleep.
IF we do not get our 2 hours of continued sleep in the deep sleep REM mode. This is the most important part of sleep. It is the center core of sleep.
There are several stages to sleep and if you do not get the most critical deep sleep or your deep sleep cycle gets interrupted, you will wake up, not feeling awake, not feeling rested, not feeling satisfied. You might need a coffee or a different stimulant just to get through your day.
